Campaign Schedule
Pre-Semester – Red Zone Poster
September 8 – Triangle Activity - Three female students sit in a triangle with white shirts on. One female student stands in the middle wearing a red shirt. This is the representation the statistic that 1 in 4 female students will be sexually assaulted during their time at college.
September 15 – Red Zone Forum - A panel of speakers talks about different areas of the Red Zone. They give advice and help students be more aware of what could happen during the Zed Zone.
September 28 – Wear Red Day - This is a day that we want a "red-out". Students wear red to show awareness towards those who have been sexually assaulted.
September 30 – Consent is Sexy poster Campaign - We want to give people the knowledge that consent is important. There will be an entire campaign dedicated to our saying that Consent is Sexy.
October 12 – Greek Program - We are going to have 2 groups of presenters. Two male presenters will talk to the groups of Greek men, and 2 female presenters will speak to the groups of female Greeks. The presenters will share information with the Greeks about how to protect themselves and their other members from sexual assault.
October 25 – Flag Activity- During this activity, the BURG Peer Education Network will be placing small red flags in a designated area for 24 hours to represent the number of women who are sexually assaulted in a 24 hour period.
November 1 – Poster Campaign
